SnapGM Privacy Policy
Last updated: September 24, 2026
SnapGM ("the app") is a fantasy football co-manager for iPhone made by MannyD.dev Software Solutions ("we", "us"). This policy explains what information the app and our servers collect, why, who we share it with, and how you can delete it. It covers the SnapGM app and snapgm.com.
The short version
- You sign in with Apple. We get an anonymous Apple ID and the name you choose to share. We never ask for your email.
- To manage your teams we store your fantasy platform connections, encrypted, and the league data those platforms return.
- The Assistant, move explanations and screenshot reading run on your iPhone. Your questions and screenshots are not sent to us or to any AI company.
- We don't sell your information, and we don't use analytics or tracking tools. The free version shows ads from Google AdMob. Pro has none.
- You can disconnect any platform or delete your account and all of its data in the app, any time.
1. Information we collect
Your account (Sign in with Apple)
SnapGM requires Sign in with Apple. We receive and store:
- Your Apple user identifier. A random ID that is unique to SnapGM. It is how we recognize your account.
- Your name, if you choose to share it. We use it for greetings like "Good morning, Riley". You can change it in Settings > Account.
- A sign-in token from Apple, stored encrypted, which lets us revoke SnapGM's access to your Apple ID when you delete your account.
- Your device's name (for example "Riley's iPhone"), stored with each sign-in session so you can recognize your devices.
We do not request your email address and do not receive one. We never see your Apple ID password.
Your fantasy platform connections
When you connect a fantasy platform, we store what's needed to read your leagues and, when you approve a move, to make it. Every credential below is encrypted before it is stored.
| Platform | What we store |
|---|---|
| Yahoo | Access and refresh tokens from Yahoo's own sign-in page, and your Yahoo account ID. We never see your Yahoo password. |
| Sleeper | Your Sleeper username and user ID. Sleeper's public data needs no password. |
| ESPN | The ESPN login cookies (espn_s2 and SWID) created when you sign in on ESPN's own page inside the app, or that you paste in yourself. The in-app browser's data is cleared afterwards. |
| MyFantasyLeague | Your league ID, franchise ID, and your league's API key if you provide one. If you turn on moves for MFL, your MFL password is used once to sign in to MFL and is not stored; we keep the login cookie MFL returns. |
| Fantrax | Your Fantrax Secret ID and your league IDs. |
| Leagues added by ID or link | The league ID, your team, the league name and season, and an API key if the platform needs one. |
| Manual leagues | No credentials. Just the league and roster you enter. |
League data
From each connected league we fetch and store the data needed to analyze it: league settings and scoring, your roster and this week's opponent's roster, matchups and projections, available free agents, recent league transactions, and the list of teams in the league. That list includes other managers' team names and owner names, records, points, standings, FAAB balances and waiver order, exactly as your fantasy platform shows them to you. We use it only to power your recommendations and never contact those managers.
Recommendations and activity
We store the moves SnapGM suggests, whether you approved or skipped them, any feedback you give, a record of each move SnapGM made or verified for you, and a log of the notifications we sent. Your settings are stored too, such as your action mode and notification preferences.
Push notifications
If you allow notifications, we store your device's push token from Apple so we can send move alerts and account notices. Signing out removes it.
Purchases
SnapGM Pro is sold through Apple's In-App Purchase. The app sends us Apple's signed record of your subscription, which includes the product, purchase and expiry dates, whether it's a free trial, and Apple's transaction ID. We store your plan, its expiry and that transaction ID so Pro follows your account. Apple processes the payment; we never see your payment details.
Server logs
Like most online services, our servers record basic request information such as your IP address, the time, and the address requested. Sign-in codes are removed from these logs.
2. What stays on your iPhone
- The Assistant and move explanations run on Apple's on-device model (Apple Intelligence). Your questions and its answers are not sent to us or to any AI company. To answer, the Assistant reads your leagues and players from our servers the same way the rest of the app does. Chats are not saved.
- Screenshot import reads your roster screenshot with Apple's on-device text recognition. The image never leaves your iPhone; only the player names it finds are sent to us to match them to real players.
- The Share extension passes images or links you share to SnapGM on your device. It makes no network requests of its own.
- Your sign-in session is kept in your iCloud Keychain, which Apple encrypts end to end, so a new iPhone signed in to the same Apple ID picks up where you left off. It contains your SnapGM session only, never platform credentials.
- Your free Assistant question count and display preferences are stored on the device.
Player photos and team logos load directly from Yahoo, ESPN and Sleeper image servers, which see your IP address like any website would.
3. How we use information
- To sign you in and keep your account and Pro status in sync across your devices.
- To read your leagues, analyze your lineups, injuries, byes and waivers, and suggest moves.
- To make a move on a platform, but only after you approve it with DO IT, and to verify it went through.
- To send the notifications you've turned on.
- To keep the service secure, prevent abuse, and fix problems.
We do not build advertising profiles, and we do not use your league data for anything other than running SnapGM for you.
4. Advertising (free version)
Free accounts see banner and occasional full-screen ads served by Google AdMob. SnapGM Pro turns ads off. To serve and measure ads, Google's SDK may collect:
- Your device's advertising identifier (IDFA), only if you allow tracking when iOS asks
- Your IP address, used to estimate your general, not precise, location
- Ad interactions, such as which ads were shown or tapped
- Diagnostic and performance information about the ad SDK
iOS asks your permission before SnapGM can access your advertising identifier. If you decline, you see the same number of ads, just less personalized. You can change this any time in iOS Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking. Where the law requires it, a Google consent message appears before any ads load. Google's use of this information is covered by Google's Privacy Policy and how Google uses information from apps that use its services. We never receive your advertising identifier or any ad profile. Your league data is never used for ads.
5. Who we share information with
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with:
- The fantasy platforms you connect (Yahoo, Sleeper, ESPN, MyFantasyLeague, Fantrax), to read your leagues and to make the moves you approve.
- Apple, for Sign in with Apple, push notifications, and In-App Purchase.
- Google, for ads in the free version, as described above.
- Our hosting provider, which runs the servers and database SnapGM uses, under its own security and confidentiality obligations.
- Authorities, if the law requires it, or to protect the rights and safety of our users or of SnapGM.
SnapGM also downloads public NFL statistics and sports-market data to build its projections. No information about you is sent in those requests. SnapGM contains no analytics, crash-reporting or tracking tools of our own.
6. Security
All traffic between the app and our servers is encrypted with HTTPS. Platform credentials and Apple sign-in tokens are encrypted before they are stored, sign-in sessions are stored only as one-way hashes, and our database is not reachable from the internet. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your information and will notify you if a breach affects it, as the law requires.
7. How long we keep it, and deleting it
- While your account is active, we keep your connections, league data, recommendations and activity so SnapGM can work and show your history.
- Disconnecting a platform (Settings, then the platform, then Disconnect) deletes its credentials, its leagues and their recommendations. Where the platform supports it, we also revoke our access. A record of moves SnapGM made for you is kept with your account until you delete it.
- Deleting your account (Settings > Account > Delete Account) permanently deletes your account and everything we stored for you: connections, leagues, rosters, recommendations, move records, notification logs, devices, sessions and purchase records. We also revoke SnapGM's Sign in with Apple access and its access to your Yahoo account. This can't be undone.
- Sign-in sessions expire 60 days after you sign in.
- Subscriptions are managed by Apple. Deleting your account doesn't cancel an active subscription; cancel it in Settings > Apple Account > Subscriptions.
You can also stop using Sign in with Apple for SnapGM in iOS Settings > your name > Sign-In & Security.
8. Your rights and choices
You can view and change your league connections, notifications and display name in the app, and delete your data as described above. Depending on where you live, including California and other U.S. states with privacy laws, you may have the right to know what personal information we hold about you, to get a copy, to correct it, and to delete it, and to not be discriminated against for using those rights. To make a request, email support@mannyd.dev from the address you'd like us to reply to. We may need to confirm the request comes from your SnapGM account.
9. Children
SnapGM is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has created an account, contact us and we will delete it.
10. Where SnapGM is available
SnapGM is currently offered in the United States only, and your information is processed on servers operated for us by our hosting provider.
11. Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we'll post the new version here with a new date. If a change significantly affects how we use your information, we'll also tell you in the app.
